Dry Curry Wanton Mee @ Old Klang Road

This is another post related to another food stall next to Scott Garden and the Pan Mee stall that I brought up in my previous post
Sorry because seems like I love old klang road a lot
That's because Ma Man used to work near this little yet busy road before
Hence, he brings me here quite often for cheap but nice food

This wantan mee is the first stall he imtroduced to me
One thing I really like about this stall is its wantan mee structure
The boss uses it in almost most of the dishes he sells
Very tender, not hard yet not so soft
It is just my type
This is similar to what my hometown is selling
I love my hometown wanton mee stalls,
But I don't know why not many people like it

Another plus point is its dry curry wantan mee
Dry meaning with black soy sauce, just like an ordinary wanton mee
But this stall offers one that comes also with little bit of curry soup
This is within my must-eat list whenever I come to this stall
It is because like other usual wanton mee,
The boss will give you another bowl of soup
And I always get to taste all black soy sauce, curry taste and clear vege soup at the same thing
Sometimes mix-and-match and it becomes perfect eventually.

Ragarding its curry mee,
for me, it is just so so
Because the curry flavor is not strong enough
Maybe the boss uses milk to replace the coconut milk, for which I am not so sure
But I just remember when my mom cooked curry mee for me
She came up with similar taste when she replaced with milk
Not that strong but more healthy
I am not sure whether this is what this stall is doing
But I am just not a fan of it

Ma Man always order curry mee soup
And I always order dry curry wanton mee
Everytime we will switch whenever we finish half of the dish that order
And everytime I always feel regret for switching my dry wantan me with his
LOL, I can't just love the dry's more.

杨氏肉骨茶 Yeoh's @ Batu Tiga Lama, Klang

Dining at this bah kut teh shop is all of a sudden thing
We went to Klang together one day for some important business
We reached there during lunch hour
At first, we just planned to have something light only
Just to make sure that we don't starve
as we are not sure that how long we need to be there for the discussion.
Yet, when we passed by the Hokkien Association located at Batu Tiga Lama
I saw a very big signboard stating Yeoh's Bah Kut Teh
And what attracted me was quite a number of cars were driving into that hokkien association during that very lunch hour
I was moved and we decided to try on this bah kut teh

Not a regret
And it eventually came out as a good decision
The bah kut the was good
With very thick flavor of Chinese herbs Ma Man and I always favor strong smell of Chinese herbs
Because the soup just subconsciously makes us think that it is good for health
And the meat is just so nice and soft
Yummzzz..

In addition to bah kut teh,
Ma Man knows that I love tripe soup
So he ordered one for me as I wasn't feeling well that day
It was so good
I still remember my mom always boiled this to me when I was young
And this soup makes me think off the home-cooked taste
For me, it was so good
I could have finished the whole pot by myself if I happened to have this at home
Such a lovely day it was...
